Recordings: Atlantic Chamber Winds
A very nice CD played by a topnotch ensemble. |
All of the music on this recording has been carefully prepared and recorded. It is a recording to enjoy as well as for discovering new wind chamber music. |
I loved your performance of French Dances Revisited…your ensemble plays the work so sensitively and with such spirit.

Recordings: Sunderman Conservatory Wind Symphony
[This disc features the] premiere recording of Trust in Angels for solo trumpet and wind band. The work opens quietly with shades of Copland before settling into a jazz ballad. This composition is given a beautifully controlled performance by soloist Steven Marx, trumpet professor and conductor of the Symphony Band at Sunderman Conservatory, and the Wind Symphony under McCutcheon.
All of the music is excellently performed by the Sunderman Conservatory Wind Symphony under McCutcheon, and the recorded sound is very fine.

Your project is one of the crowning achievements of the College's 150th Sesquicentennial Celebration!
-Peter Carmichael, Gettysburg College Sesquicentennial Committee
You conducted the Wind Symphony as they performed three of my compositions that comprise the Unknown Heroes of the Civil War series. Your interpretations were insightful and very finely and sensitively conducted. I grew very quickly to admire all you do and the expertise you display on a daily basis.
